        Always the form, never the space 
      Always the sun, never the moon 
        Always the land, never the sea 
        Always the buyer, never the bought 
        Always the thinker, never the thought 
      Always the mechanic, never the car 
        Always the hunter, never the prey 
        Always the key, never the latch 
        Always the flame, never the match 
      Always the mason, never the stone 
        Always the sailor, never the boat 
        Always the criminal, never the crime 
        Always the prose, never the rhyme 
      Always the sculptor, never the sculpture 
        Always the flower, never the stem 
        Always the pounds, never the pence 
        Always the sound, never the silence 
         
        Always the heard, never the listener 
        Always the surfer, never the wave 
        Always the builder, never the place 
        Always the form, never the space. 
       
      Yum (the Female) 
        Never the form, always the space 
      Never the sun, always the moon 
        Never the writer, always the book 
        Never the teacher, always the taught 
        Never the thinker, always the thought. 
      Never the cook, always the diner 
        Never the parent, always the child 
        Never the throw, always the catch  
        Never the flame, always the match. 
      Never the namer, always the named 
        Never the actor, always the script 
        Never the clock, always the time 
        Never the prose, always the rhyme. 
         
        Never the painter, always the painting 
        Never the gardener, always the soil 
        Never the dancer, always the dance 
        Never the sound, always the silence 
         
        Never the singer, always the song 
        Never the picture, always the frame 
        Never the taster, always the taste 
        Never the form, always the space. 
       
        Yab-Yum 
       
      Male and female - two sides of one coin 
        Form and space - two halves conjoined. 
        Beyond half-hearted physical gender 
        Man or woman with halves combined  
        Becomes yab-yum, the enlightened mind.
