Two Hearts
You do not understand
You are not from my land
You speak a different tongue!
(My heart is almost numb).
You don’t see what I see
Or feel what I perceive
Our trust is overdrawn!
(My heart in two is sawn).
This conflict in our view
Leaves us torn in two.
Disjointed, set apart!
(Two separate hearts).
