Thoughts
Thoughts are like
guests,
They knock on your door
Saying "Can we come in
- We've been here before?
Check their credentials
Because you should really know
That if they come in
They won't ruin the show!
Remember the time
Guilt, anger and shame
Decided they owned you?
No, please - Never again!
If they sneak in unattended
Don't give them a glance
- They thrive on attention,
So deprive them that chance.
Welcome in good thoughts
Of love, joy and grace
But don't attach to them either
Just be empty space.
