Reflecting on a Conversation
I’ve re-revised my intent
Found a reason to lament
The understanding that I had
Another day, another bad
confusion that was in my brain
Left me wondering was I insane?
I thought to kidnap you to my path
Thought to capture your transient laugh
Thought to re-repeat our way
For another dawn, another day.
So stop! Lets find a different guise
To remonstrate about or share our lies!
In fact, in truth its you I adore
Not the fact or mangled door
Of unrepeatable argument
Silently spoken, silently meant.
Take heart O friend of many a year
And know that you, to my heart, are dear.
