Anne

"Anne", a 60-year old lady suffering from osteoarthritis and bronchial asthma, came for treatment in May 1999 and again in September 1999. Anne had suffered with arthritis for 3 years and asthma for over 20 years. Because Anne's mother had suffered with both osteoarthritis and osteoporosis, she was beginning to believe that the pain in her sacrum and back would be with her for the rest of her life. Anne was taking painkillers to alleviate the arthritis, and four other medications to control the asthma. The period between September and February each year was particularly dangerous for Anne, so much so that for the previous 15 years steroids had been added to her prescription at this time to help her over the asthma attacks.

Anne's response to the treatment was very strong right from the first day. She reported feeling "pins and needles" sensations over her sacrum, shoulders and down the arms during the therapy and the sessions left her feeling deeply relaxed and a little disorientated.

Immediately after starting the EFT, Anne felt very tired, became very thirsty and had to pass loose stools frequently as her body began to cleanse itself. By the final day of the treatment her back pain had disappeared, enabling her to discontinue the pain-killers. Since the first treatment in May 1999 Anne has remained virtually pain-free, only needing to take resume medication for her back problem on approximately 6 occasions.

After Anne's second treatment in September 1999 her asthma was so much easier that she was able, with medical supervision, to begin to reduce the dosages of her anti-asthma medication. Remarkably, even though she was taking fewer drugs she was able to experience her first winter free of any breathing difficulties! She is now taking half her original dose of these medications and yet feels stronger and healthier with a clearer, wheeze-free chest.
