Animals: Guille When Guille came to the clinic, she had been suffering from a severe lameness in her right foreleg for 18 months. For a huge 2½-year-old Bernese Mountain dog, this was a serious worry for her owner, as the development of arthritis in such a large dog at this early age could seriously affect her quality of life. Twelve months previously a course of acupuncture had helped enormously, but when this was repeated several months later when the lameness intensified again, it did not help. Three different types of anti-inflammatory medication were not helping and so Guille had made the long trip from Hampshire to Stockport after her owners had read an article about EFT in "Dogs Today". Two months after just one course of EFT, Guille
had improved significantly and continued to improve slowly over the following
months. She remained "98% better" for nearly 20 months - being
able to enjoy regular periods of free-running exercise without any problems.
