Animals: Dylan

Dylan was a five-year- old piebald who had white legs with sensitive skin and suffered very badly with "mud fever". As he lived out through the winter, this condition was extremely difficult to manage.

I treated Dylan in the winter of 1999. The treatment went very well and two days later, two sore patches on his hind legs developed into open bleeding wounds. Initially his owner was alarmed, but was consoled when I explained that the cleansing or healing reaction that can follow a treatment often intensifies the symptoms for a short while and that this is a very positive sign. Over the next 2 days the reaction subsided and within a week there was no sign on any "mud fever". Dylan spent the remainder of his winter free of any problems.
