Animals: Billy When Billy first came to see us he had been on steroids, Salazopyrin and occasionally Largactil for 2 years to control chronic recurrent diarrhoea, which he had suffered from for 3 years. After 2 months of homeopathic treatment he was able to discontinue the steroids and Salazopyrin without too many problems, however over the next 4 months he continued to have several bouts of diarrhoea each month, which were sometimes so bad that his stools contained blood and mucus. During March and April 2000 he also developed a prolonged severe skin infection that required antibiotics and antibacterial creams to clear. Within 2 months of having EFT Billy's owner noticed
a marked improvement in his temperament. He became much more tolerant
about other dog approaching him and sniffing at him, not snapping as readily
as he used to. He was also much calmer generally and far less anxious
when travelling - settling down quickly, even when going long distances.
His diarrhoea stopped and there has been no return of either the colitis
or the skin problem.
